SINE will customize a program to a business’ workforce development needs in areas including the following:

SINE has worked with local employers to provide specific literacy programs based on the needs of employees.  Examples are an ESL program offered at the worksite at a time and date convenient for the employees. Instruction can be developed to focus on workplace vocabulary and directions to aid both the employee and employer. Another program offers computer literacy classes for labor members at their labor hall.  SINE can work with employers to develop curriculums and programs to help meet employee literacy needs.  

Diversity training

SINE has brought diversity training to Southwestern Indiana to help organizations and individuals who interact with non-English speaking people to understand other cultures.  SINE can set up trainings for specific groups including law enforcement, health care personnel, social service agencies, and others.
