The SINE Learning Exchange is a school-to-work program designed to foster relationships between businesses, educators and students. While demonstrating the applicability of education to the business world, youth are exposed to real-life workplace experience.
| STEP 1: | Fill out the Educator Profile Questionnaire (Click to download). | |
| STEP 2: | Option A: | If you do not have a specific business partner in mind, fax or mail the Educator Profile Questionnaire to the S.I.N.E. office. A representative from S.I.N.E. will contact you to discuss some possible business partners in your area. |
| Option B: | If you have already chosen a business partner for the Learning Exchange, indicate the name and contact person on the Educator Profile Questionnaire and continue to STEP 3. | |
| STEP 3: | Read and sign the Educator Participation Agreement (Click to download). Obtain a signature from your principal. | |
| STEP 4: | Fill out and sign the Partnership Project Grant Application (Click to download). Obtain signature from your business partner representative. | |
| STEP 5: | Option A: | Fax or mail all three documents to the S.I.N.E. office. |
| Option B: | Scan all three documents and email to sstump@sineonline.com | |
You will then be contacted by a S.I.N.E. representative when approval for the Learning Exchange has been granted. |

| STEP 6: | Plan your visit to the workplace to discuss the following with your business representative: |
| 1. The student project | |
| 2. Timing of the student field trip & areas to be toured | |
| 3. Timing and content of classroom visit by business representative, to include level of engagement in the student project. | |
| STEP 7: | Take the field trip with your students. |
| STEP 8: | Complete the student project and classroom visit by business representative. |

| STEP 10: | Fax or mail the follow-up documents to the S.I.N.E. office. |
