The Southwest Indiana Network for Education facilitates educator training and on-site implementation assistance for research-proven K-12 programs across a wide variety of curriculum areas, including literacy, writing, mathematics, technology, at-risk youth, curriculum development, and others. SINE also works with individual schools to implement programs such as the Student Success Process, Model Schools Program, and The Learning Exchange.
The vast majority of the associated professional development workshops are offered through SINE’s Consultants in Education (CIE) division. While the CIE cadre of consultants is very capable of providing large-group workshops for a variety of educational programs, the real thrust of the group is to provide quality on-site assistance for teachers and principals in the implementation of cutting-edge educational programs targeting No Child Left Behind and Indiana’s PL 221 school improvement requirements.
