K-12 Programs & Professional Development - Model Schools Program
Model Schools Program

SINE’s Model Schools Program provides the incentive for a school’s entire staff, including administrators, to become involved in the implementation of instructional strategies to the degree that other schools will want to emulate their success.

SINE provides Model Schools with the in-depth training, consultation and financial support necessary to formalize their professional development programs and become “models” for how to successfully implement strategies that address their particular needs.  Model Schools Program training areas include literacy, writing, mathematics, technology, at-risk, curriculum development, and so on.

To date, 28 schools in SINE’s nine-county region are participating in the Model Schools Program, representing an investment of over $1.6 million by SINE.
