Addressing the six traits of writing (Ideas, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, Conventions) through assessment, rubrics, student writing samples, and literature. An interactive workshop that examines children’s literature used to teach the traits, demonstrates the traits, and establishes understanding of the six traits rubric. Activities and writing samples demonstrated to help students with revision.
