Updates to SINE Workshop Registration Process

Posted: 01/03/2010

Since Fall 2008, SINE has been charging a modest registration fee for all of our workshops. Though our payment policy states that payment must be received upfront in the form of a check or school purchase order, we have been very lenient with this policy and have billed teachers or their schools several days after the workshop date.

At the request of the schools we serve, SINE will be making some changes to the workshop registration process that adhere more closely to our policies. Beginning January 1, 2010, any registrations made for upcoming SINE workshops will serve as temporary reservations. To finalize your registration and reserve your spot at a workshop, SINE must receive payment for your registration fee prior to the workshop date.

Forms of payment
SINE must receive either a check or purchase order for your registration. You must provide a physical check, either personal or from the school; no photocopies or facsimiles will be accepted. For purchase orders, you can fax or mail SINE a copy of a purchase order from your school. Please make sure that your school purchase order contains the following:
1.     A valid purchase order number
2.     The total dollar amount
3.     Signature of the principal, superintendent, or other purchasing agent as authorized by the school
4.     It must be a valid school P.O. (not a requisition)

Once payment has been sent, you can check the status of your registration by clicking on the word "Roster" next to the workshop name on the "Workshop Schedule" page of our website. Once SINE receives your payment and it has been recorded, your name will appear on the online roster.

If you have any questions about the registration process, please feel free to contact us at any time. We look forward to assisting you in your continued professional development.

Sincerely,
